  • Polymer-microgel colloids and their characterisation, hard-sphere phase behavior, size fractionation
  • Viscoelastic behavior of the dispersions (rheology)
  • Investigation of crystal structures via static light scattering (powder diffraction)
  • Crystallization of the colloidal Laves phases MgZn2 and r-MgCu2 as a function of volume fraction, number ratio, size ratio and cross-linking density
  • Long-time dynamics of concentrated binary colloidal mixtures (dynamic light scattering)
  • Influence of free polystyrol chains on the crystallization and demixing of binary mixtures (entropic interactions)
  • Laves phases as potential precursors of photonic crystals
